I am running for Readington Schools Board of Education. I moved to Readington Township from Hillsborough and I am charmed by the community here as well as the schools. As both a parent and a dedicated educator, I bring over 15 years of experience in public education to my candidacy for the school board. I hold a Master’s degree in English Education from Rutgers University and a second Master’s in Curriculum and Leadership from Georgian Court University. My career in education began as a high school English teacher, where I developed students’ love of literature and critical thinking. Since then, I have served in leadership roles including grade 9-12 English Supervisor, K–12 English Language Arts Supervisor and currently, as the 5–12 ELA and Social Studies Supervisor.
I am a parent of two students attending Readington Schools. I am very involved in both local and national literacy organizations as a literacy leader and as a lifelong learner. As both a parent and educator, I understand the importance of balancing rigorous academic expectations with the social-emotional needs of students, participation in athletics and community and civic engagement.

I believe…
the Readington School District should continue moving toward a future that is student-centered, inquiry-driven, and focused on providing access and opportunity to our students. That means fostering environments where students’ voices are heard, their passions are cultivated, and they are prepared not just for academic success, but also for engaged citizenship in an ever changing and competitive world. Building on the district’s strengths in sustainability, student safety, character education, and literacy, we can ensure that our graduates leave with the real world skills to compete on a national level, to think critically, collaborate effectively, lead with integrity and to be successful as they pursue their education.
